AMERICAN VINTAGE MOTHERS DAY TOUR

American Vintage provided a selection of defective garments, and solicited our studio in order to find a creative solution of repurposing them, avoiding textile waste. 

STEP 1 : CHOOSE YOUR FABRICS

To compose their doomy, the participants could pick from the eclectic pile of colors and textures.

STEP 2 : TRACE YOUR PATTERN & CUT

Trace the outlines of the pattern pieces designed by our studio and inspired by the AMV mascot. Each doomy can be reversible if composed by different fabrics for the front and back, making it a versatile accessory for the home.

STEP 3 : ABOUT A WORKER SEWS YOUR DOOMY

Our team of designers takes care of sewing the pieces together, front sides facing each other.

STEP 4 : STUFF YOUR DOOMY

It’s now up to the participants to stuff their doomy to their liking. Thanks to Atelier des Matieres, we were able to provide the fluffiest wool stuffing.

STEP 5 : DOOMY READY TO BE CUDDLED !
